Through relentless advocacy, education, and collaboration, we aim support survivors on their journey to recovery, and create a world where every individual can live free from the chains of exploitation. We've come to recognize the disturbing prevalence of this issue right here in our Chicago community and neighborhood. It's disheartening to see young children becoming victims practically in our own backyard, often unnoticed. Particularly troubling is the fact that the average age of a trafficking victim is just 12 years old. The lack of sufficient advocacy addressing this substantial problem is concerning in itself. To evoke meaningful change, we must bring attention to this issue and raise awareness within our community.
